KS-10 type self collecting cable gate position meter
1. Functional purpose
The KS-10 self collecting cable level gauge is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the national standard SL/T 209-1998 "Hydrological Measurement and Reporting Device Remote Sensing Level Gauge".
The instrument is composed of absolute value rotary encoder, automatic cable collection device or other forms of couplers. It is an independent gate opening measuring instrument and is suitable for observation and measurement of gate opening in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, locks, hydropower stations and water supply and drainage projects; At the same time, this series of instruments can be connected with gate opening and closing machine control devices and electric displays to form a display and control system; Connecting with computer systems to form a comprehensive measurement and control system for hydropower stations, gates, and water levels; Connected to the communication device, it is used as a digital terminal equipment for hydrological automatic measurement and reporting system and hydrological satellite telemetry system.
This series of instruments can be used for opening measurement and data transmission of flat gates, arc gates, and humanoid gates.
2 Working principle
The KS-10 self collecting cable level gauge consists of an opening sensor, an automatic cable collecting device or other forms of couplers, a display controller, a transmission cable, an RS485 digital communication interface, and other components. The gate movement drives the sensor to rotate through the coupler, which outputs a Gray code encoded signal corresponding to the gate position.
The resolution of the KS-10 self collecting cable gate position meter is 1cm. Its working process is as follows: when the gate moves vertically or rotates, the coupler connected to the gate moves synchronously, and the coupler drives the main shaft of the sensor to rotate. The gate position encoded electrical signal (Gray code) corresponding to the rotating position can be output through the sensor's electrical socket. For tablet gates, the output signal can be directly used for observing and displaying gate opening after being decoded by hardware or software; For curved or herringbone gates, the Gray code is automatically converted or digitally processed by an electronic display or computer before being output.
